Law school requires a lot of studying, which is why it is so important to stick to a study schedule that works for you, to stay organized and on top of everything. Today I’m sharing what that looks like for me!
Sunday
AKA my “get my life together day.” Sunday is CRUCIAL for me, because how productive I am tends to set the tone for my entire week. In addition to cleaning, planning, and other tasks I like to do on Sundays, for studying I typically like to:
+ Finish any reading left for the week (If you’ve read my other posts, you know that I always read a week ahead, and it is a game changer)
+ Review my notes for Monday
+ Catch up on outlining for all of my classes (Doing this on a weekly basis will save you SO MUCH TIME at the end of the semester!)
Monday
On Mondays, I have class and work all day, so I usually do not do any reading or outlining.
Tuesday
+ Review my notes before class in the morning
+ On Tuesdays, I have class and work all day, so I usually do not do any reading or outlining.
Wednesday
+ Review my notes before class in the morning
+ Reading for the next week (whenever I have time)
Thursday
+ Reading for the next week (Typically for a few hours in the morning, and then for a little while in the afternoons/ evenings)
+ Reviewing class notes from the week & adding them to my outline
Friday
On Fridays I work from 9-5 at my internship, so I don’t do any school work!
Saturday
Saturdays depend, because sometimes I do school work, and sometimes I take the day off. But if I do decide to work, I typically am finishing up reading for the upcoming week.
